Don't forget to leave a review on any of them, it helps a lot.

Negative self-talk rarely appears out of nowhere.

It’s shaped slowly over time. From school grades and productivity culture to social media and advertising, we are constantly exposed to messages that subtly suggest we are not enough or not doing enough. Without even realizing it, we begin internalizing those messages.

The voice that once came from outside eventually becomes an inner dialogue. A voice that criticizes our decisions, questions our worth, and pushes us to constantly prove ourselves.

When that voice becomes loud enough, it can start influencing everything: our confidence, our relationships, our ability to trust ourselves, and even the way we move through everyday life.

But here’s the truth most people overlook: negative self-talk isn’t just about mindset. It’s about the relationship you have with yourself.

In this episode of Conscious Matters®, we explore how negative self-talk affects your confidence, well-being, and relationship with yourself, and what it takes to start shifting that inner dialogue.

This conversation is about becoming more aware of how you speak to yourself, rebuilding self-trust, and learning to meet yourself with greater protection, discernment, and kindness. When the world is already harsh enough, your inner voice does not need to become another source of harm. Your inner dialogue can either drain your energy or support your growth.

The shift begins the moment you start noticing the way you speak to yourself.

IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:

  • How negative self-talk is shaped by conditioning, pressure, and internalized beliefs

  • Why awareness is the first step to changing the way you speak to yourself

  • How self-trust helps you stop absorbing every opinion around you

  • What it means to become your own protector instead of your own punisher

  • Why kindness toward yourself is not weakness, but part of true inner strength

  • And so much more ...

It means recognizing that growth is a journey, not a performance.

And it means understanding that you deserve an inner voice that supports your well-being, not one that constantly tears you down.
